Eir extend live TV to iOS and Android with SeaChange

Irish telco eir is expanding its eir Vision IPTV platform to deliver OTT live TV to iOS and Android devices.

The eir Vision platform, based on SeaChange International’s technology, will now provide a unified user experience across iOS and Android mobile devices, according to eir.

SeaChange, which provides its Nitro multiscreen user interface for the service, has supported eir by acting as lead systems integrator, and has integrated third-party technologies including ATES Networks’ single sign-on package and Broadpeak’s CDN and streaming server solution.
