Vodafone Portugal enables GoPro streaming to TV

Vodafone Portugal has launched a service that allows people to stream content shot using a GoPro camera direct to the TV via its Live On TV service.

Content shot using a GoPro Hero 3 or 4 camera can be downloaded via the operator’s  Live On TV app, which is available for Apple iPhones from version 5S upwards, and linked with the GoPro Camera app. Footage can then be transmitted to the user’s TV or to friends’ TV with Vodafone’s service.

The initiative is the latest innovation from Vodafone Portugal, following its recent launch of a TV service to the smartwatch.

Vodafone’s TV Net Voz service provides a range of channels for €25.90 a month on a two-year contract.
