Netgem adds France 24 to international content line-up
French TV technology and services provider Netgem has added international news service, France 24, to its channel line-up.
The English, French and Arabic versions of the news channel are now available to customers of the Netgem-enabled EE TV service in the UK and Videofutur in France, and are due to be added live and on-demand in Australia by the end of the year.
“By establishing partnerships with world-class content owners like France 24, we are building a platform that enables telecoms providers to launch TV services with ease without having to worry about their own content partnerships, therefore drastically reducing their time to launch,” said Netgem TV’s managing director, Sylvain Thevenot.
The deal follows a recent deal between Netgem and SPI’s FilmBox Live, which covers live TV channels as well as an on-demand library of sports and fashion programming, documentary films, music videos and arthouse movies.
