Telekom Romania ups mobile and web channels
Deutsche Telekom-owned operator Telekom Romania has increased the number of channels available on its web and mobile TV platform from 67 to 115, and has also teamed up with Discovery to offer the latter’s content on-demand.
Canale TV Online S customers can access and additional 21 channels, taking the total available to them to 66, while Canal TV Online M customers gain an additional 30 services, taking their total to 89. Customers with the Canale TV Online gain 36, taking their total to 104. The number of channels on the Dolce Sport offering have been increased to 10. The online version of Dolce Sport allows users to watch eight simultaneous Champions League and Europa League matches.
Discovery is making 200 titles available on the Telekom Romania on-demand service, via its website and TV services. The content is available free-of-charge to Telekom Romania TV customers.
Other new content on the site includes movies from Mubi, including Paul Thomas Anderson-directed Junun. The Mubi catalogue is available on a subscription basis for RON13 including VAT for non-Telekom Romania subscribers.
Telekom Romania has also created and audiobook section on its on-demand service, with 21 titles currently available for a period of 30 days.
