Liberty-backed Guavus appoints Google executive
Liberty Global-backed data analytics firm, Guavus, has hired Google’s former head of reporting platform and solutions for corporate engineering, Anupam Rastogi.
Rastogi becomes Guavus’ new chief technology officer and joins the company along with former Symphony Teleca executive, Sergey Sukov, who has been appointed vice president engineering and delivery.
“Anupam and Sergey are important additions to the Guavus executive team as the company gears up for the next phase of growth into new markets, new products and new geographies,” said Guavus CEO, Anukool Lakhina.
Earlier this month, Liberty Global made a strategic investment in Guavus, a provider of real-time big data analytics applications, designed for planning, operations and marketing. Announcing the deal, Liberty said that Guavus’ products allow cable operators to gain a “holistic, cohesive view of network state and business context in real-time.”
