New European launch for Fox channel

Fox International Channels is launching its flagship Fox channel in Belgium.

The general entertainment service will launch on Liberty Global-owned cabler Telenet on October 1 and be carried in its basic package.

Telenet subs taking the Play More package will also be able to access on-demand box sets and catch up on Fox content.

The linear channel will have The Walking Dead and other drama series including Da Vinci’s Demons and The Flash. The comedy line-up includes The Mindy Project and Episodes.

There will also be Scandi dramas including 1864, Blue Eyes and The Heavy Water War.

The partnership with Telenet enables us to offer our content via our linear channel and through their on-demand services, giving fans a chance to enjoy our shows anytime and anywhere.”
