Skyline to showcase DataMiner 9.0
Skyline Communications will showcase version 9.0 of its DataMiner network management and OSS platform at IBC.
The Belgium-based company claims that DataMiner offers unified control, monitoring and workflow automation across all devices, data centre infrastructure, cloud OS, virtualised software functions and CPE devices – regardless of vendor or model.
It is also designed to provide end-to-end visibility from the content source, across the network, down to millions of CPE and in-home devices.
Skyline’s product marketing director, Steven Soenens, claimed that the new 9.0 release of DataMiner will “drastically change the NMS/OSS landscape”, adding that “DataMiner’s new and bullet-proof resource and session management across satellite, fiber and cloud infrastructures is essential to the operation of any modern network.”
Skyline will display various other items at IBC, including confidence monitoring using hardware- and software-defined monitoring probes, digital head end management for linear and OTT streaming, Master Control Room management with single-click studio configuration, and satellite earth station management.
Skyline is a specialist in end-to-end multi-vendor network management and OSS software for the broadcast, satellite, cable, IPTV and mobile industries.
