Tele Columbus debuts on small cap index
German cable operator Tele Columbus’ shares are being listed on the country’s SDAX index from today.
The SDAX tracks small cap companies and was launched by the German stock exchange in 1999. The index tracks the 50 biggest companies that do not qualify for the DAX and MDAX indices.
Tele Columbus, the third largest German cable operator after Vodafone-owned Kabel Deutschland and Liberty Global-owned Unitymedia, launched its IPO in Germany a year ago.
