Montenegro Telecom adds to TV base

Deutsche Telekom-owned Montenegrin telecom operator Crnogorski Telekom added 1,700 TV customers in the first three months of this year, taking the total number of customers for its Extra TV service to 64,400. 

The figures mean that Crnogorski Telekom remains the leading TV platform in the country with a 40.9% market share.

Crnogorski Telekom added 2,800 broadband customers in the same period, taking its total to 78,200, of which 10,000 are connected to its fibre network, an increase of 33% year-on-year.

The operator blamed regulatory pressure on pricing for an overall drop in revenue for the first quarter, reporting sales of €22.8 million, down 7%.
