House of Cards season three leaks after Netflix glitch
A “technical glitch” allowed Netflix subscribers on Wednesday afternoon to briefly watch the upcoming third season of political dramedy House of Cards.
The Netflix original show is not due to officially launch until February 27, but was mistakenly made live in its entirety yesterday for around half an hour.
It was quickly pulled down after news spread quickly via social media.
Netflix called the upload a “technical glitch”, while the House of Cards Twitter feed latter joked: “This is Washington. There’s always a leak. All 13 episodes will launch February 27.”
The show, based on the BBC series from the early 1990s, follows Kevin Spacey as unscrupulous politician Francis Underwood. It comes from Media Rights Capital.
