Kabel Deutschland partners with Kaltura for TV app

Kabel Deutschland has selected video technology firm Kaltura to power its new TV app, a cable-based multi-screen TV service.

The first phase of the multi-screen service rollout will include live TV for iOS devices, with additional capabilities and devices to be launched in the coming months.

Kaltura’s OTT TV platform will power the service. This offers an end-to-end pay TV solution with monetisation tools, household and device management, social interactivity and discovery tools, and personalisation features.
