comScore to measure video audiences across devices
Digital analytics firm comScore is reportedly planning to launch a new video tracking measurement that will record audiences across computers, mobile devices and other streaming devices.
According to a New York Times report, comScore is planning to launch the measurement this week, expanding upon on its existing offering that only tracks video audiences on desktops and laptops.
“We want to make sure that video audiences get properly counted across all platforms,” Serge Matta, comScore’s CEO told the NY Times.
The new measurement tools will be targeted at advertisers and TV networks, offering additional information that promises to boost total digital viewership.
