Satellite services market to hit US$17.2 billion

The fixed satellite services market is expected to grow from US$13.46 billion in 2014 to US$17.21 billion by 2019, according to new research by MarketsandMarkets.

The research estimates that the the market will grow at an estimated compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.0% over the five years – encompassing satellite segments that include TV channel broadcast, broadband and enterprise network, video contribution and distribution, trunking and backhaul.
