Blinkbox Movies and TV goes live on Chromecast
Tesco-owned online video service, Blinkbox Movies and TV, is now available to access through Google’s Chromecast HDMI streaming device.
Users can now ‘cast’ Blinkbox titles from the Blinkbox site in their web browser, or from Blinkbox’s iPad and Android app, onto their TV.
“Customers can use their laptop or tablet to browse and cast content from Blinkbox to their TV. They can even use their device to play or pause what they see on their big screen, or adjust the volume,” said Blinkbox in a blog post announcing the launch
Adrian Letts, co-founder and managing director of Blinkbox Movies and TV, said: “There’s now another really easy way to enjoy the latest movies and TV shows at home on the bigger screen.”
Blinkbox is now available to access on PS3 and Xbox games consoles, iPad and Android tablets, smart TVs, Blu-ray players, set top boxes and computers.
