Seven up for UPC Slovakia

Liberty Global-owned cable operator UPC Slovakia has added seven new TV channels to its platform, including four HD services.

The operator is adding HBO HD services HBO2 HD, HBO Comedy HD, Cinemax HD and Cinemax2 HD, alongside three channels new to the platform – music service FajnRock TV, football channel Spartak TV and motorsports channel Sport 5.

UPC Slovakia CEO Martin Miller said that the inclusion of the channels reaffirmed its commitment to provide a range of channels from different genres to subscribers.

The addition of the new HBO HD services brings the total number of HD services on UPC Slovakia to 24.

FajnRock TV covers rock music from local and international artists, while Spartak TV is the official channel of the Spartak Trnava club.
