European Audiovisual Observatory appoints new legal chief

The European Audiovisual Observatory has appointed the former head of Italian Regulator AGCOM’s digital rights unit, Maja Cappello, as its new legal chief.
Cappello will take over the Observatory’s department for legal information from July 1, working alongside the Observatory’s executive council.
As well as working for AGCOM, Cappello was also previously vice president of the European Platform of Regulatory Authorities (EPRA).
