UPC Cablecom extends mobile offering to all customers

Liberty Global-owned Swiss cable operator UPC Cablecom has extended its mobile offer to all customers, establishing itself as a full quad-play provider.

UPC Cablecom initially launched mobile services in April, but only to invited customers.

UPC Cablecom has recently launched a ‘Wi-Free’ pilot, allowing customers to access the internet from mobile devices at friends’ homes via WiFi. All existing customers with a TV subscription can also watch TV and video-on-demand while out and about with the Horizon TV and Horizon TV Remote smartphone apps.

Separately, UPC Cablecom announced it will offer the iPhone 5S, the latest smartphone model from Apple, and the iPhone 5C to its customer from June 27.
