TalkTalk to enable users to check broadband on TV

UK service provider TalkTalk is working on the introduction of a tool that would enable subscribers to check their broadband connection on their TV screens.
TalkTalk head of TV Henrik Karlberg told broadband price comparison site Cable.co.uk that the operator would introduce the new service.
The news comes as TalkTalk rolls out a new TV Player to its YouView-enabled TV homes with a greater emphasis on on-demand content. Features on the new player include improved discovery features, a ‘watchlist’ feature and a ‘more like this’ feature.
