Dailymotion strikes deal with Viral Spiral

French video sharing site Dailymotion has struck a partnership with video creator Viral Spiral that will give its users access to thousands of videos from Viral Spiral.

Viral Spiral will for its part gain access to Dailymotion’s large global audience, giving corporate partners a wider reach and content creators opportunity to further monetise their content through advertising revenue sharing.

“Some of the most popular video content today is user generated, but the quantity of it makes it hard to pick out the best,” said Marc Eychenne, head of international content at Dailymotion.

“Viral Spiral is an expert in identifying the most interesting creative content and supporting users to make the most of it. This deal will allow our users to benefit from their innovative approach and access the newest and best viral videos. And it will help those that created them benefit from increased reach and an easy way of monetising their content.”
