Lagardère Active names new head of programmes

French conglomerate Lagardère’s media arm Lagardère Active has named Caroline Cochaux as director-general of programmes and broadcasting for its French and international TV channels.

Cochaux will report to Gérald-Brice Viret, deputy director of French and international TV channels. She was previously director of kids and family programming, with a remit covering channels Gulli, Canal J, TiJi and La Chaîne du Père Noël before adding young adult channels June and MCM to her portfolio last year.
