Turkish cross-channel second screen app launches
Operator-focused tech firm Tagvance has partnered with content identification company Civolution and second screen specialists Monterosa to launch a cross-channel TV app in Turkey.
The Tagvance-developed mobile app is designed to let viewers interact with live or pre-recorded TV programmes and purchase items displayed on-screen and during ad breaks, and is built using Monterosa’s LViS platform and Civolution’s SyncNow audio watermarking technology.
“We have developed a robust synchronized application enabling broadcasters to offer original content and generate additional revenue. We are strong believers in the opportunities provided by synchronised apps and the m-commerce that can be generated,” said Tagvance CEO Can Kiral.
Dubai and Istanbul-based Tagvance is an ‘innovation project house’ that makes ready-to-operate solutions for telecom operators.
