RRsat appoints European sports and live events exec

Israel-based satellite services provider, RRsat Global Communications Network, has appointed Luca Marinoni as its new head of sports and live events for its European division.

Marinoni joins RRsat Europe from sports rights company MP & Silva and brings 15 years of experience in the broadcast and media rights sector.

Based in West London, he will lead RRsat Europe’s sports and live events business in the region.

“Sports and Live events services will become an integral part of RRsat Europe, and so within this territory Marinoni will lead its strategic development. His wealth of experience in this sector makes him a valuable addition and we look forward to welcoming him into the RRsat team,” said RRsat Europe’s commercial director, Matt Bowman.
