IMG uses RRsat for SuperBowl

Sports media specialist IMG has used Israel-based RRsat to distribute coverage of Sunday’s American Football Super Bowl XLVIII to Europe.

IMG has the European contract for distribution with the National Football League and has contracted with RRsat to deliver NFL live games and programming to Europe for the 2012-13, 2013- 14, 2014-15 NFL seasons.

The contract follows RRsat’s 2012 acquisition of occasional use specialist SM2 Sports & Media Solutions, allowing it to take over the responsibility for delivering the NFL World Feed throughout Asia and Europe.
