YouTube launches on Xbox One

Google-owned video site YouTube has announced it is launching an app for Microsoft’s new Xbox One console ahead of the console’s release this week. 

The new version of the YouTube app will include gesture and voice control.

By saying ‘YouTube’ while using the app, “commands like play, pause, and fast forward will instantly pop up on screen,” YouTube said.

The Xbox One’s previously announced entertainment partners include Netflix, Eurosport and Machinima.
