Local London TV channel signs up Ericsson for broadcasting services

Local TV network London Live has appointed Ericsson to provide broadcasting services ahead of the channel’s planned launch.

Ericsson will provide media asset management, scheduling, graphics hosting, EPG delivery, playout and transcoding services. It will also offer cloud-hosting support for IP-based delivery of the channel.

ESTV-owned entertainment channel London Live is due to launch next spring on Freeview channel 8, Sky channel 117 and Virgin channel 159. It will also be available on mobile, outdoor and online platforms.
