Sky Deutschland bags DreamWorks Animation film rights
Germany satellite TV provider Sky Deutschland has acquired first run pay TV and SVOD rights to DreamWorks Animation films through a deal with distribution partner Twentieth Century Fox.
The deal gives Sky D films such as The Croods, which it will run on its linear movie channels and Sky Anytime and Sky Go on-demand services.
“Through this cooperation with DreamWorks Animation SKG and Twentieth Century Fox, we present Sky customers outstanding entertainment with new and old hits,” said Sky D’s executive VP, programming Gary Davey.
Sky D currently has around 3.5 million subscribers across Germany and Austria.
