Volia signs up 7,000 Smart HD customers

Ukrainian cable operator Volia has sold 7,000 Smart HD subscriptions since the launch of the service, the operator has said.

The hybrid Smart HD set-top has been available over Volia’s own network since September following an earlier launch of Smart HD as a service to make Volia’s services available over partner networks.

Having initially launched in Kyiv and Kharkov, the service is now also available in Lviv, Sevastopol, Zaporizhia , Dnipropetrovsk, Rivne, Kherson and Odessa. Volia said it would be available in all 16 cities in which it operates its own network by November.
