Tele Columbus expands HD offering

German cable operator Tele Columbus is to expand its HD TV offering, boosting the number of commercial HD services from seven to 17 channels.

Tele Columbus will add new channels including HD versions of RTL II, Super RTL, RTL nitro, n-tv, Dmax , Viva , Tele 5 , Deluxe Music , Nickelodeon and Comedy Central in November to its unencrypted basic offering. It is also upping the number of pay TV HD services it offers from six to 10.
