Akado launches CI+ option

Russian pay TV provider Akado has launched a CI+ option enabling viewers to access 200 TV channels without the need for a set-top box.

Akado is making conditional access modules available via retail chains Media Markt, Svyaznoy, OnLayn Treyd and online stores tehnomart.ru and telehd.ru.

Commercial operations chief Sergey Nazarov said that the launch of the service would make help high-quality digital TV services available to the greatest possible number of people in Moscow.
