CNBC to launch in Slovakia

CNBC is to launch on UPC Slovakia’s platform from September 2.

The news channel will be available as part of UPC’s Digitálna Televízia Basic package. The deal is the first for CNBC in Slovakia.

Antony Lilleyman, vice-president of commercial, EMEA at CNBC said, “Our agreement with UPC Broadband enables viewers in Slovakia to watch the latest global business news and analysis, and access CNBC’s real-time data.  We continue to grow our footprint across the region as operators recognise CNBC’s expertise in the market.”
