Fashion TV chooses SatLink to playout Asian service

Fashion TV has chosen Israel-based teleport provider SatLink Communications to play out, uplink and stream its HD channel onto the AsiaSat 5 satellite. 

Fashion TV will use SatLink’s digital archive and u;link services as a gateway to the Asian pay TV market. The channel will be played out from SatLink’s Tel Aviv facility and uplinked to the satellite, located at 100.5° East, to target countries including India, China and Indonesia. SatLink operates two full C-band transponders on AsiaSat 5.
