Trace strikes carriage deal with Dom.ru

Trace Group has struck a deal with Russian service provider ER-Telecom’s commercial arm Dom.ru for carriage of its channels on he Dom.ru pay TV service.

The deal will see Trace Sports HD and music channel Trace Urban HD made available to Dom.ru’s basic digital subscribers. The Dom.ru basic digital package is available in 56 Russian cities including St Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Samara and Volgograd.

Trace Sports is already carried in Russia on the Tricolor and Beeline pay TV services.

“With Trace Sports HD and Trace Urban HD, we can now expand our unique proposition and establish our position of providing a vast collection of TV content in high definition to a wide-ranging audience,” said Andrei Chazov, director of marketing at Dom.ru.
