New chief executive for Net Insight

TV infrastructure provider Net Insight has named Fredrik Tumegård as its new CEO, replacing Fredrik Trägårdh, who is leaving after seven years.

Tumegård is currently vice-president, northern Europe at NEC, and previously held senior roles at TeliaSonera International Carrier and Huawei Technologies. He will take up his new post by October 1 at the latest.

Anders Persson, excutive vice-president, will act as interim CEO until Tumegård takes up his post.

“Our industry is showing strong growth and develops extremely fast. The board of directors and I are convinced that Fredrik Tumegård is the right person to manage and lead Net Insight in to the future. The combination of his technical and commercial ability with his international business experience will contribute to Net Insight and be valuable when strengthening our position in the market,” said Lars Berg, chairman of Net Insight’s board.
