Eurosport launches Samsung TV app

Eurosport has launched an app for Samsung connected TVs, establishing itself as the first regional sports broadcasting service available on the platform.

The Eurosport Player app gives viewers a selection of content and programming options during leading events – for example during the US, Australian or French Open tennis tournaments, viewers will be able to choose to watch one of seven different courts.

Eurosport’s Director of internet and new media, Arnaud Maillard, said that the app would give people a “more dynamic and engaging viewing experience.” Eurosport Player is available to download from the Samsung TV apps store in 40 European countries and in 13 languages, including German, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Dutch and English.
