SCTE and ANGA to award 20 bursaries to attend ANGA COM
The UK Society for Broadband Professionals (SCTE) has teamed up with German cable association ANGA to award bursaries to 20 joint bursary winners to this year’s ANGA COM exhibition and conference.
The winners of the SCTE/ANGA bursaries are mostly chosen from cable operators ranging from the UK’s Virgin Media to Telecom Slovenia-backed Kosovan service provider IPKO.
All bursary winners will receive a package that includes pre-paid flights and hotel accommodation for three nights, courtesy of the SCTE, and entrance to the full conference offering, courtesy of ANGA. Bursary winners must be members of the SCTE.
“I would like to accentuate our successful and long-term cooperation with the international SCTE (Society for Broadband Professionals), with its headquarters in the UK,” said Thomas Braun, president of ANGA. “For many years, we have developed a congress panel together, this year on “FTTH and WiFi – the Door to TV 2.0.”
“We are delighted to be working with ANGA again,” said Dr Roger Blakeway, president of the SCTE. “We will be holding a party for all bursary winners on Wednesday 5 June at 17:00 on our booth G39 in upper hall 10.2 which is open to all members and supporters.”
