Aurora Networks lines new solutions up for ANGA COM
Optical network infrastructure specialist Aurora Networks is set to showcase an expanded lineup of products at ANGA COM, including the former Harmonic Optical Transmission product line.
Aurora agreed to acquire Harmonic’s optical transmission equipment business assets for US$46 million (€35.6 million) in February and will offer the first European showcase for the former Harmonic equipment at ANGA COM.
Other solutions Aurora will present at the event include Digital Return customised for Germany’s BK architecture – technology that allows cable operators to segment their networks.
It will also show off its Fibre Deep green network architecture, Node QAM Technology, Unified PON Portfolio and Multi-wavelength Segmentation – which includes Aurora Networks’ full spectrum DWDM transmitter.
“As Europe’s market continues to see an increased need for further network capacity required to deliver bandwidth-intensive services, Aurora Networks will display products and technologies that enable service providers to answer these needs,” the firm said.
John Dahlquist, Aurora Networks’ vice president, marketing, added: “Aurora Networks’ presence at ANGA COM, supported by a lineup of industry-first products and new technologies, is a clear indicator of our leadership in Europe.”
Aurora Networks will be located at stand 09, hall 10.1 at ANGA COM.
