WISI Communications takes tech prize

German cable technology company WISI Communications has won a technical innovation award for its headend system Chameleon. 

It took the best digital processing solution prize at the Society for Broadband Professionals’ (SCTE) Technological Innovation awards ceremony in London last month.

The non-profit SCTE gave the best broadband network transmission solution award to Teleste Corporation for its AC8700 Optical Node, while the best CPE solution gong went to Asheridge Communications for its BarrIER service.
