YouView updates app

UK connected TV platform YouView has updated its free YouView app to enable customers to record entire series remotely from their iOS devices. 

Other updates include programme schedules listed by ‘now’ and ‘next’, as well as day-by-day listings per channel.

The app, available on the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, provides listings for over 70 digital TV and radio channels for the next seven days, with full programme information details. The app can connect up to five mobile devices and is compatible with all YouView set-top boxes. An Android version is expected later this year.
