UPC Slovakia to offer customers the option to buy equipment

Cable operator UPC Slovakia is to offer its customers the option of purchasing their consumer premises equipment outright rather than renting it from the beginning of March.

The operator will continue to make its set-tops and routers available for a monthly rental fee. If customers take the option to purchase their devices outfight, they will continue to have the use of them after the end of their two-year contractual commitment.
