New Liberty Global TV role for Giesbers

UPC Netherlands’ head of marketing and content, Mark Giesbers, is to join parent company Liberty Global as vice-president of video products.

In his new role, Giesbers will be responsible for pan-European TV product strategy, development and deployment, including existing digital TV and online video services and new platforms including Horizon.

Giesbers’ role at UPC Netherlands will be taken over by two colleagues, Hans Blom, director of sales and services, and Robin Kroes, director of strategy and corporate development.
