BBC retains UK snooker rights

UK public broadcaster the BBC has retained the rights to broadcast the three leading UK snooker tournaments until 2017.

Under a deal with World Snooker, the BBC will hold the UK TV rights to the World Championship, UK Championship and Masters tournaments. The deal also includes digital rights for the iPlayer catch-up service.
