Sky boosts HD line-up on KDG’s platform

German pay TV operator Sky Deutschland is adding eight HD channels to the service it offers via Kabel Deutschland’s cable network.

By the end of the week, KDG’s customers will be able to view Sky Atlantic HD, Sky Sport News HD, Fox HD, TNT Serie HD, Sky Hits HD, Nat Geo Wild HD, Sky Sport HD Extra and Disney Channel HD in addition to Sky’s existing line-up. The addition of the channels takes the total number of Sky’ HD channels available on KDG’s platform to 15.

Florian Landgraf, senior vice-president of content and product management ad KDG, said, “We are delighted that our customers through this new partnership can now get even more attractive HD programming from our long-standing partner Sky Deutschland.”
