CTC launches on Philips Smart TVs

Russian broadcaster CTC Media has launched a connected TV service in partnership with Philips.

CTC Media will make content from its TV channels CTC, Domashny and Perets as well as on-demand service Videomore available on Philips connected TVs.

CTC new media director Anna-Maria Treneva said that CTC believed Smart TV held out the prospect of strong growth in Russia and that CTC Media’s applications had already become established as leading services on other manufacturers’ platforms, with similar results expected from Philips Smart TVs.
