Deutsche Telekom TV subs up by 40% in a year

Deutsche Telekom had 1.9 million customers for its Entertain TV offering at the end of September, up 39% year-on-year.
Strong growth of 55% in its VDSL subscriber base failed to stem an overall 12% loss in Telekom’s fixed-line base. Revenue in Germany for the third quarter was €5.7 million, down 1.3%, with EBITDA down 2.5% to €2.4 billion.
