TalkTalk begins selling YouView TV bundles

UK ISP has officially launched its new YouView service, with its TalkTalk Plus TV package combining TV, broadband and phone with a free YouView box for £14.50 (€18.20) a month plus £9.50 line-rental and a one-off installation fee of £50.

The TalkTalk Plus TV offering also includes a 12 months subscription to Lovefilm Instant, worth £59, giving access to Lovefilm movies-on-demand via a variety of devices. Existing Lovefilm Instant customers can either switch to the Lovefilm Instant offer or redeem the equivalent value of the offer against their existing Lovefilm Instant account.

Customers will be able to subscribe to additional ‘Boost’ services, with a minimum one month commitment, for an additional £5 a month for a starter pack, with Sky Sports and Sky Movies costing £30 and £15 respectively.

BT previously announced that it would give free YouView boxes to its Infinity broadband customers, with a £50 installation fee that matches the fee charged by TalkTalk.
