UPC Netherlands boosts HD line-up

Dutch cable operator UPC is boosting its HD line-up with the addition of five new channels.

From September 4, UPC will add Eurosport2 HD, ARD HD and ZDF HD to its network. Adult channel Dorcel XXX HD will join the Xotix Premium package and movie channel Film1 HD Series will join the Film1 family of channels. The addition of these channels will take the total number of HD channels available on the Liberty Global-owned operator’s network to 38.

UPC has also announced the launch of the Crime & Investigation and WDR channels to its basic digital package.
