Sky adds catch-up platform and boost Sky Go line-up

UK pay TV operator BSkyB will offer the catch-up service from the UK’s Channel 5 to its customers later this year. It has also added eight kids channels to its Sky Go multiscreen service.

Demand 5 will be added to Sky’s broadband-delivered VOD platform Sky Anytime this autumn, joining the BBC’s iPlayer and the ITV Player.

Sky has also announced that from today it is launching on-demand shows from eight kids’ channels on Sky Go, including Disney and Nick Junior. The operator plans to add new features including pause and rewind, search and personal recommendations this year.
