Rostelecom ups 1Q profit

Russian telco Rostelecom has recorded a 38% increase in first-quarter net profit of RUB14.6 billion (€360 million).

Year on year revenues were up 17% and totalled RUB84.4 billion. The telco registered over six million pay TV subs and revenues from pay TV services increased 58% year on year.
