CTC Media secures early VOD window for House

Russian broadcaster CTC Media has inked a deal with NBC Universal International Television Distribution that will see the final season of medical drama House airing on the company’s digital video platform immediately after its TV bow.

This is one of the first times in Russia that a key international acquisition will be available via video-on-demand following its TV debut. The eighth season of the Hugh Laurie-fronted series will be available on Videomore.ru and Domashniy.ru for four days after its launch.
