New channel for Iran

Iran is launching an animation channel next month. The network will initially broadcast two hours of animated kids series and this will increase to 12 hours once it has ramped up local production and acquisitions.

Currently there are 14 channels broadcasting in Iran. Iran’s animation industry is slowly growing and recent animated feature Battle of the Kings: Rostam and Sohrab has been picked up by international distributor Fantastic Films International and sold to over 100 territories.
